JAPAN PARADE
Japan Parade celebrates and further promotes cultural exchange and friendship between the USA and Japan, and takes place in May, which is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI). It is one of the largest Japan-related events outside Japan. In 2023, some 2,500 people in over 90 units participated in the parade, which marched more than a dozen blocks for about three hours along the west side of New York City’s Central Park, with approximately 50,000 people packing the streets.
Live Spectacle NARUTO -ナルト-
At the invitation of the parade organizers, appare brought Live Spectacle NARUTO -ナルト- to the parade as special guests.
The high-profile performance was a big hit with American audiences, and the media response was so enthusiastic that the parade and performance were featured on many local and Japanese TV stations and news articles.
