A world premiere and Off West End award-nominated London production based on the anime masterpiece from Makoto Shinkai (Your Name., Suzume) & CoMix Wave Films. Co-Adapted by Susan Momoko Hingley & directed by our very own appare member Alexandra Rutter. Best known for pioneering the stage adaptation of Princess Mononoke, Rutter’s unique Anglo-Japanese collaboration garnered critical success and several Award Nominations.

The show received high praise both in London where it premiered as well as a subsequent production in Tokyo. The London run was nominated for 3 prestigious Off West End Theatre Awards (commonly known as The Offies)
