Hajime Isayama's original series Attack on Titan is a popular manga sold in over 180 countries in 18 languages, with total sales 140 million copies. In 2023, the series made its debut as a musical in Japan, with production combining traditional analog theater effects with cutting-edge technology. The musical drew in large audiences and high praise for its intense singing, dancing, and action sequences.
The following year, the musical made its international debut in New York City, selling out all 9,000 tickets and drawing fans from over 20 different countries. This run was considered a massive success that earned rave reviews from the media.
